She had such a good day! She let everyone hold her and play with her, took a nice long nap, and did a lot of laughing and talking!

Pierced Ears!

We took Abby to Claire's in Bay Terrace to get her ears pierced today. She did great! We managed to attract a crowd around us to watch, and I'm sure they thought I was crazy when I started to cry because she cried :-) But she only cried for a second after each ear, so all in all it was better than I anticipated. She was happy the rest of the night!

5 Months Old!

Abby is 5 months old and growing too fast for her mommy! At her doctor appointment 2 weeks ago, she weighed in at 16lbs 3 oz.- yes, she loves to eat! She's now eating 4-5 bottles a day, a breakfast and dinner of cereal with fruit, and a lunch of an orange vegetable. She had her 1st sleepover at Nana and Grandpa's this weekend while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding, and she did great. She's also been sleeping nearly through to the morning, usually getting up between 5:30 and 7:30, so we're happy about that. And this morning, she rolled over for the first time! Even though no one saw the actual rolling- I was at work, and Steve was in the kitchen making her cereal. Abby was on her tummy on the playmat, and Steve suddenly heard her crying. Lo and behold, she had flipped onto her back! Hopefully we'll catch it live soon.
